Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB)
Sifat-sifat minyak kelapa sawit adalah ditentukan oleh kandungan kimianya. Kandungan semulajadi minyak kelapa sawit mingikut kandungan asid lemak dan triglycerid diterangkan. Pembiakan pokok dan cara-cara memperoses seperti pemecahan, penghidrogenan dan interesterifikasi yang digunakan untuk mengubah kandungan minyak kelapa sawit dibincangkan mengikut hubungannya dengan sifat-sifat.
EPA telah menanam 142 palma yang diperolehi daripada prospeksi dan koleksi PORIM di Tanzania pada tahun 1986.
