Palm Oil Familiarization Programme – A TAS Approach
The First Palm Oil Familiarization programme was held from 21st February to 2nd March, 1982. The aim is to provide participants with technical information on palm oil/oil palm products, applications and appropriate handling procedures. Twelve guest-participants for the inaugural programme were invited. The ten-day progamme exposed the participants to the whole spectrum of palm oil industry in Malaysia.
